You're Not Leading, If You Don't Have A Quality PLAN!

Although, many individuals, either, are elected, selected, or ascend, to positions of leadership, merely, holding some position, doesn't. automatically, mean, you are a real leader! The reality is, you aren't leading, unless/ until, you proceed, with a timely, well - conceived, and considered, PLAN! However, effective, meaningful, leadership planning, means, proceeding with, identifying the needs, priorities, and perceptions, of one's group, and constituents, perceiving and conceiving of, the options, and alternatives, and creating a well - considered, timely, strategic, and action plan. With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, what this means, and why it's important, using the mnemonic approach.
1. Perceptions; priorities; process; planning: One must, begin, by effectively, paying keen attention, to constituent's (actual and potential) perceptions, and reasons, and addressing this, fully, to the satisfaction of them! Your stakeholders, and organization's priorities, must become yours! Will you proceed, emphasizing, creating the best - possible, process, which addresses what's best, for your group? How will you, consistently, proceed, with the level of strategic planning, which implements, an action plan, which might bring your group, to the next level, for the better?
2. Listen; learn; lessons; leadership: No one has all the answers, and holding a specific position, doesn't make anyone, automatically, wiser, and smarter/ better! Genuine empathy, which is, a necessity of leadership, requires, consistently, learning important lessons, from every conversation, and experience. A great leader, effectively listens, and learns, in order to enhance his knowledge, improve his judgment, and, hopefully, proceed, with greater wisdom!
3. Attitude; aptitude; attention; articulate; achieve: A true leader is measured, not by his promises, and/ or rhetoric, but, rather, by what, he achieves! One must proceed, consistently, with a true, positive, can - do, attitude, combined with a priorities - based, relevant, fully developed, aptitude, and skill - set! When one pays attention, to what is needed and necessary, and articulates a message, which inspires and motivates, others, in the best, possible direction, he becomes, more capable, of achieving, to the best, of his abilities, and potential!
4. Needs; necessities; nuances/ niche: Whose needs, must a true leader, address? What should be considered, the primary necessities of quality leading? Will you be ready, willing, and able, to understand, and identify, the specific nuances, which might address and enhance, your organization's niche, in alignment with, the mission, and vision, of your group?
Are you able, and willing, to proceed, with, a true PLAN, focused on making a difference, for the better? Will you be, up, to the task?
